Solider performing vehicle maintenanceAPSL operates the Army’s only Center for Metrology Expertise.

APSL has two unique facilities on Redstone Arsenal, AL, including:
  • One-of-a-kind Aerosol Metrology laboratory to support chem/bio measurement R&D
  • One of only two anechoic chambers in DoD for RF/millimeter/microwave calibrations
  • Multiple quantum-based measurement capabilities for direct realization of SI units
