Core Competencies


The NBCRV SSU integrated six CBRN sensors with communications equipment, unmanned aerial vehicles, unmanned ground vehicles, and computing equipment.
 
  • Manage investments in chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear defense equipment and medical countermeasures.
  • Lead, manage, and direct the acquisition, fielding, and sustainment of CBRN sensors, protective equipment, specialized equipment, integration and information management systems, and defense-enabling biotechnologies.


Technology Transfer Notes


LaboratoryCPE CBRND cooperates with non-federal partners to manage scientific direction, build partnerships, and de-risk programs. For instance, through relationships with the DoW Chemical and Biological Defense Program, CPE CBRND provides resources to test candidates against military agents of interest and against military specifications. CPE CBRND provides access to expertise or specialized materials that cannot be found elsewhere.
