The AI Integration Center develops and integrates AI capabilities Army-wide to enhance lethality, achieve operational overmatch, and empower Soldiers and units to compete, fight, and win future conflicts.

Key Tasks

AI Expertise and Leadership
Serves as the Army’s AI/ML expert, leading the development of integrated AI/ML strategies that align with national defense objectives.

AI Workforce Development
Lead, integrate, and synchronize AI workforce development to ensure the Army can lead, manage, and organically develop capabilities that Soldiers can operate.

Integrated and Synchronized AI Capabilities
Lead, integrate, and synchronize AI efforts across the Army to drive innovative capability development, accelerate operational advantage, and increase lethality.

Rapid AI Applications
Accelerate AI efforts across the Army and throughout the full AI lifecycle—concept development, prototyping, testing, deployment, and transition—in close coordination with the Department of Defense and sister services.

Technology Transfer Notes

The launch of AI2C allows the Army to better connect with the broader AI community and focus their efforts in this dynamic field. As part of Army Futures Command, AI2C will leverage the AI Hub and engage universities and companies from across the nation by building upon initial successes at Carnegie Mellon University and vibrant robotics and AI communities.
