Core Competencies


The NBCRV SSU integrated six CBRN sensors with communications equipment, unmanned aerial vehicles, unmanned ground vehicles, and computing equipment.
 
  • Manage investments in chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear defense equipment and medical countermeasures.
  • Lead, manage, and direct the acquisition, fielding, and sustainment of CBRN sensors, protective equipment, specialized equipment, integration and information management systems, and defense-enabling biotechnologies.


Technology Transfer Notes


LaboratoryJPEO-CBRND cooperates with non-federal partners to manage scientific direction, build partnerships, and de-risk programs. For instance, through relationships with the DoD Chemical and Biological Defense Program, JPEO-CBRND provides resources to test candidates against military agents of interest and against military specifications. JPEO-CBRND provides access to expertise or specialized materials that cannot be found elsewhere.
